Ben became Director of the family dealership in March 2012 after a distinguished career as Chief Financial Officer of an American company in the healthcare sector. After more than 25 years of experience in business management in key sectors such as health, recruitment and insurance, he has helped mechanize part of the operating site and make SMB one of Congo’s largest exporters of Coltan. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Catholic University of Notre Dame in the United States. He is a member of Congo CBN and a director of the national FEC. He was previously a member of the T.I.C. (Tantalum-Niobium International Study Center).
Freddy has senior level experience with a particular focus on managing political and social risk as an executive and adviser in DRC mining projects. Freddy has great interest in the equitable, environmental and sustainable development of mineral resources and has had the chance to offer advice to governments on topics related to mine development, commodities supply security, mineral sector development and economic growth.
Loïc took up the position of Deputy General Manager of the company after carrying out an organizational audit mission in December 2017.
After nearly 15 years of experience in auditing and human resources management in multinational groups in the field of new technologies and entrepreneurial experience in Africa, Loïc joined the mining sector.
He contributed to the reorganization of activities in the mine and operations of SMB in promotion of non conflicting mineral.
Janvier has been the CFO of SMB since 2014. With extensive experience in the banking sector, he has provided the company with assistance in financial reporting and financial controls, governance, operations, financing, regulatory and tax compliance.
